Came at 5:15 on a Saturday evening for an early dinner with a party of four. We were promptly seated and our orders were taken. The wait staff was very helpful and walked us through any questions we had about the menu. We had the barbecue chicken, chicken clay pot, and the beef bulgogi bowl all of which were immensely flavorful. We'll definitely be coming back to try their other dishes. Recommend trying this place out if you're in the area!

My favorite all-time comfort food in Boston. I always go for the clam tofu soup extra spicy with an egg. Their pork belly and galbi are my go-to meats. Seafood pancake is huge and yummy. Also we love Jose best service always. Love love this place.

I came by on August 19th around 3 PM, and the place was pretty quiet, so we got seated right away. Service was fast and friendly, and food started hitting the table almost immediately. The La Galbi was tender and flavorful. The pork belly, on the other hand, fell flat: overcooked and lacking seasoning. The sweet and spicy pork had good flavor but leaned more sweet than spicy. For sides, the japchae was good light, balanced, and one of the better dishes we tried. The bulgogi stir-fry noodles were good but a little too similar to the japchae to stand out. The kimchi fried rice had a nice kick, and the kimchi beef tofu soup was a table favorite warm, hearty, and comforting. Overall, the food was good with a few hits and a few misses. I’d come back for the galbi, japchae, and kimchi beef tofu soup, but I’d probably skip the pork belly next time.

Kaju Boston is easily one of my favorite Korean restaurants in the city, known for its warm, inviting atmosphere and attentive service. Whenever I visit, I always order their soft tofu soup with beef and squid, which never disappoints. The broth is incredibly rich and full of flavor, with a perfect balance of spicy and savory notes that warm you from the inside out. The tofu is silky smooth and delicate, melting beautifully in every bite. The beef is tender and well-seasoned, while the fresh squid adds a lovely texture and subtle sweetness to the dish. It’s honestly one of the best soups I’ve had in Boston. In addition to this standout soup, I’ve sampled other dishes on the menu, all of which showcase authentic Korean flavors and are thoughtfully prepared. The restaurant is clean and cozy, with simple decor that makes it an excellent spot for family dinners or casual outings with friends. For anyone who appreciates hearty, comforting Korean food, I highly recommend trying the soft tofu soup at Kaju—it’s a flavorful, soul-soothing experience you won’t regret.

The food here is outstanding, and it is my go to when I am craving Korean tofu soup. This is the best place in Allston if you want Korean cuisine. Jose is one of the best servers I have met. He is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the food.

Homey, no frills Korean restaurant, focused on the food. Service is efficient and professional. Parking can be difficult. The banchan was fresh and flavorful. The kimchi was great. Enjoyed the grilled galbi with its sweet flavor over a hot bowl of rice. The clay pot with veggies, beef, and an egg was a nice mix and contained a decent amount of rice. It was filling! Also appreciated the glass noodles with vegetables, which was a light-medium dish. The seafood tofu soup was very flavorful and had a great broth.

Kaju was highly recommended to me and for great reason! The food was super comforting, warm, and delicious. Be prepared: the restaurant can get pretty busy, and the space is tight.
